About The Position

Sutter Medical Group of the Redwoods (SMGR) is recruiting a Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Oncology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing acute and chronic medical conditions in the form of episodes of care. Main roles include supervising patients during their outpatient infusion center care and providing clinical support in preparing for future planned treatments e.g. lab review, clinical updates etc.

Patients present to the outpatient infusion center for the treatment of a variety of medical conditions with treatments including infusions, injections, oral therapies and for diagnostics.

The provider will also participate in quality assurance and improvement projects in collaboration with the infusion center team.

Experience in Oncology is preferred.

Requirements

• Board certified
• Active and unrestricted California license
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA Program and Nationally Certified by ANCC or NCCPA
• DEA license
