About The Position
The Advanced Practice Provider Urgent Care Fellowship is our selective program for recent Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant graduates with an interest in furthering their education in the field of Urgent Care. Our 12-month program includes clinical time under the guidance of preceptors, rotations through multiple specialties, didactic lectures, and opportunities to participate in journal clubs and research/QI projects. Fellows will float through multiple Urgent Care clinics while developing skills in problem-focused point of care of acute and acute-on-chronic medical problems. The Urgent Care Fellowship is limited to Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants who have graduated from an accredited school within the 12 months prior to interview, and, if applicable, have less than nine months working experience as an APP at the time of interview. The Fellowship is one year in length, with an additional two years after graduation as a full provider, for a total commitment of three years which must be completed in Nevada. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position.
