About The Position

Family Medicine is located within the Baldwin Building, NW Clinic, NE Clinic, SE Clinic, and Kasson Clinic. Our current need is in the Kasson Clinic. Kasson Clinic is the Family Medicine residency clinic. The role is primarily patient care with additional opportunities to participate regularly in resident education seminars throughout the year and present on various primary care topics. The APP will be joining a strong team of Family medicine residents, consultants and two experienced APPs.

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
• Experience in Family Medicine or primary care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care primarily at the Kasson Clinic.
• Participate in resident education seminars throughout the year.
• Present on various primary care topics.
• Work as a team with consultants from Family Medicine and Family Medicine residents.
• Involved in population management strategies to improve chronic illness outcomes.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe pharmacologic agents and treatments.
• Provide non-pharmacologic therapies and counseling to patients.
