Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Endocrinology Outpatient Thyroid Clinic

The Division of Endocrinology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in our outpatient Thyroid Clinic. The APP will work both independently and in collaboration with consultants, fellows/residents, nursing, and sugical colleagues to provide high quality outpatient care in our busy thyroid practice. The primary focuses of this role will be the medical management of papillary thyroid cancer, thyroid cancer survivorship, and Grave's disease. Provision of care includes, but is not limited to: comprehensive physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing therapy, and educating and counseling patients and their families. Our division has a rich base of clinical and research experience and has been ranked #1 in US News and World report for 29 consecutive years. This position will be 100% outpatient clinic practice with no call, holidays, or weekends.
Requirements
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program. Current MN RN and APRN license and certification as an FNP or ANP.
- Physician Assistant: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the MN State Board of Medical Practice.
- BLS certification and DEA registration required.
