About The Position

Minocqua Urgent Care/ Emergency Medicine is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for seasonal coverage. This role will work 36hrs per week from May - September and then can pick up PRN shifts the rest of the year. The summer schedule will be 7am-7pm (3 12hr shifts per week ). Our Urgent care is open 07-7pm, 7 days a week, ED is 24/7. Position will rotate between UC and ED, wherever the need is most urgent.

Requirements

• Master's degree nurse practitioner or physician Assistant.
• Current State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, or Physician Assistant.
• Nurse Practitioner Certification awarded by a national certifying body.
• Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber Certification awarded by the State of Wisconsin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) within three months of employment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification awarded by the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Two years nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire.
