About The Position
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) role in the Cardiovascular Surgery Unit at UAB Medicine involves providing comprehensive medical care to surgical patients under the supervision of a collaborating physician. The APP will work full-time, primarily during evening shifts, and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with cardiovascular issues in an inpatient setting. This position requires a strong clinical background and the ability to coordinate care plans and patient education effectively.
