About The Position

Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Cardiothoracic ICU Shift: Full time – 40 hours a week – 50/50 DAYS and NIGHTS, and NIGHTS ONLY - weekend, and holiday requirement

Requirements

• Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required
• MSN required
• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
• BLS certification required
• May require ACLS certification
• May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support)
• Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved
• This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience in Acute Care preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years nursing experience in clinical care, cardiology, surgical backgrounds preferred.
