About The Position

What You’ll Do Respond to hyper-acute strokes and inpatient consults. Perform daily rounds, progress notes, and patient assessments. Prepare patients for neurointerventional procedures (pre- and post-op). Manage ER and hospital consults; one clinic day per week. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary neuroendovascular team. Requirements

  • PA-C or NP (ANCC/AANP), DEA, BLS (may obtain within 6 months).

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute, critical, and chronic neurological conditions in an inpatient setting.
  • Obtain histories, perform physical exams, and develop differential diagnoses.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments as appropriate.
  • Interpret diagnostic studies and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, preventive health, and recovery.
  • Coordinate care across multiple services, including pre-op planning and discharge.
  • Document care plans and maintain records per established standards.
  • Offer clinical guidance to nursing staff and ensure continuity of care.
