About The Position

OnPoint Medical Group is searching for an outstanding Nurse Practitioner to join our team at OnPoint Internal Medicine at Harvard Park, located on the Porter Hospital Campus. The OMG Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for both direct patient care and for other administrative duties as designated by the Medical Director and his/her designee and in accordance with the nursing practice act. The Medical Director/Lead Physician will provide the overall clinical direction.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse practitioner studies.
  • Licensed through the State of Colorado.
  • Board Certification for specialty.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Athena EMR experience preferred.
  • Basic Life Support card.
  • 2 years' experience in primary care practice required.

Responsibilities

  • Practice using sound medical judgment and adhere to all ethical considerations of the practice of medicine.
  • Know limitations and seek consult when advisable.
  • Keep abreast of current technologies and industry standards.
  • Regularly perform monitoring and mentoring of other staff technicians to ensure continual performance improvements.
  • Meet all clinical obligations of the Health Center's medical practice.
  • Follow all internal policies and procedures.
  • Be accountable for completion of all operational tasks according to departmental guidelines to ensure appropriate clinical processing/documentation.
