About The Position

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
• Ability to complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Proficiency in additional languages, including Spanish, is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Epic experience preferred.
• Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred if less than 1 year of work experience as a licensed provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidenced-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
• Perform administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, and patient follow-up.
• Handle patient appointments and perform routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and coordinate with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Encourage patient participation in their healthcare through services like health screenings and chronic condition management.
