The NP provides healthcare in ambulatory and acute health care settings. Including management of surgical patients from pre-operative, peri-operative and post operative phases of care. The NP has didactic education, clinical competency and national certification in identified area of clinical practice. We treat all neurological conditions, including Brain tumors, Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leaks, Chiari Malformations, Chronic pain, Concussion, Dystonia, Epilepsy, Essential Tremor, Head injury, Hydrocephalus, Meningiomas, Parkinson's Disease, Peripheral nerve injury, Peripheral nerve tumors, Skull base tumors, Spasticity, spinal cord injury, spine fractures, spinal deformity, cervical radiculopathy, degenerative disc disease, herniated discs, myelopathy, and spinal cord tumors. We use a multidisciplinary approach to help promote team learning, group dynamics, and excellent patient care. Our patient care focus includes monitoring the neurological status of our patients; detecting cues of neurological decline; early intervention; quick return to optimal health; and maintenance of ideal neurological status.
