About The Position

Springfield Clinic, one of the largest multi-specialty physician owned medical practices in Illinois, is currently seeking an Advanced Practitioner Hospitalist to join one of the most progressive, independent medical groups in Illinois. Springfield Clinic is committed to quality, safety, service and innovation to improve the health and lives of people in central Illinois. This is a nocturnist position with rotational shifts in Springfield, Lincoln and Jacksonville, requiring 14 shifts per month, which includes a mixture of 10 and 12 hour shifts. This role presents a great opportunity for Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to work with multiple specialties and patients with comorbidities.

Requirements

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Current Illinois licensure or eligibility to obtain
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care as a nocturnist
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Manage patients with comorbidities
• Participate in rotational shifts across multiple locations
• Engage in professional development and continuing medical education (CME)
