Nurse Practitioner Movement Disorders, 100% outpatient, in Reno/Tahoe
About The Position
Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network is seeking a Neurology Nurse Practitioner to help evaluate, consult, and treat patients with Movement Disorders in the outpatient clinic. The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with the Movement Disorder Neurology physician to accurately diagnose movement disorders and develop comprehensive management plans and incorporate various therapeutic options including medications, injections, and deep brain stimulation. Previous experience working in Neurology and/or with Movement Disorder patients is preferred. Renown's providers foster the teaching of residents and medical students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Providers also have access to an established Research Department which provides support to coordinate clinical trials or take the opportunity to conduct research on the university campus.
