We currently have a position for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant supporting Urgent Care in our Pediatrics department at our practices located at the Burlington site. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will work collaboratively on a team to provide direct clinical care within an ambulatory, pediatrics practice to deliver comprehensive care and must possess the ability to assess clinical problems, determine priorities of care, design and implement a treatment plan and seek and utilize consultation appropriately. Clinical care includes pediatric primary care. We offer superior staffing resources and a fully integrated EMR system. Weekend availability is required for this per diem position.

Requirements

  • Must be nationally certified as an FNP, PPCNP, or CPNP for Nurse Practitioners.
  • Graduate from an accredited master's degree NP program.
  • Possess state licensure to practice as an APRN in Massachusetts.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts.
  • National certification and licensure as a Physician Assistant in Massachusetts.
  • Must possess and maintain, or be eligible for, Mass DPH Controlled Substance registration and DEA registration.
  • Minimum of two years of pediatric ambulatory care experience preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal and patient interviewing skills.
  • Ability to interpret clinical information and develop a plan of care.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Up to date with current standards of nursing care in specialty.
  • Demonstrated excellence in practice and documentation.
