At the Pediatric Transplant Center at CHOP, our team of world-renowned experts addresses all of the transplant needs of children and families, from evaluation through long-term, post-surgical care. Since its inception in 1992, the Kidney Transplant Program has performed more than 300 kidney transplants, with outcomes among the best in the nation. Our Nurse Practitioners work within a strong, multi-disciplinary team providing post-transplant care and follow up to patients from infants until adulthood. In collaboration with an attending physician, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the direct care and follow-up of a population of patients that matches his/her delineation of privileges and skill set.
