We are located at 480 Lynnfield Street, Lynn, MA. As an Internal Medicine office, we provide physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for adults. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. The weekly schedule will consist of 36 hours of clinical, patient-facing time and 4 hours of remote, administrative time. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Summary Summary
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations, including those with medical and/or surgical conditions, as well as providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing appropriate plans of care, and conducting ongoing evaluations.

Requirements

• Master's Degree Nursing required
• Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN-NP - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner 0-1 year preferred

Nice To Haves

• Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency is strongly preferred due to the needs of the patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
• Consistently provides high-quality and timely documentation, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
• Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions in accordance with organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
