The Medical Group provides a wide range of offerings, including primary care, specialty care, behavioral and mental health, and urgent care, both digitally as well as at physical locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. The group also offers outpatient surgery and endoscopy, imaging, cardiac testing, and infusion. We share the commitment to delivering a coordinated and comprehensive experience across all locations, ensuring the appropriate level of care is available to every patient across our care delivery sites. We are located at 480 Lynnfield Street, Lynn, MA. As an Internal Medicine office, we provide physical examinations, routine health screenings, and preventative care for adults. We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. The weekly schedule will consist of 36 hours of clinical, patient-facing time and 4 hours of remote, administrative time. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Job Summary Summary The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations, including those with medical and/or surgical conditions, as well as providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing appropriate plans of care, and conducting ongoing evaluations.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree Nursing required
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN-NP - State License] - Generic - HR Only required
  • Experience as a Nurse Practitioner 0-1 year preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency is strongly preferred due to the needs of the patient population.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
  • Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
  • Consistently provides high-quality and timely documentation, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Performs bedside procedures as are appropriate to the patient population.
  • Orders medications and writes prescriptions in accordance with organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
