Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Florida.
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• 1+ year of experience in a procedural heavy setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in wound care management.
• Proficiency in using scalpels for procedures and wound management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Willingness to pursue ongoing education and training.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home health care settings.
• Additional certifications in wound care management.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities and patients' homes as part of a mobile practice.
• Perform bedside wound care procedures and position patients appropriately for optimal care.
• Independently conduct a wide range of medical procedures, including wound care practices, biopsies, debridement, and suturing.
• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Conduct patient education sessions on treatment plans and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical practice guidelines.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff and other healthcare providers.
• Stay informed about advances in medical technology and treatments.
