About The Position

Under the supervision of the intensivist, this position supports the Critical Care Service Line. Principal responsibilities include assessing and managing the medical care of patients in collaboration with the physician. The incumbent will also communicate with other nursing staff and referring physician to ensure the continuity and coordination of care. Adheres to hospital policies, industry standards, best practices, and applicable laws/regulations and codes to promote a quality, highly reliable patient experience. Engages in continuous growth and development in professional advanced nursing practice. Follows ambulatory care and inpatient standardized procedures, protocols, policy and procedures regulated by the State of California Nurse Practice Act. Offering a $15,000 sign-on bonus. New Grads are welcomed to apply but must take boards for NP.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Master's degree in Nursing.
• RN-Registered Nurse of California certification.
• NP-Nurse Practitioner (National certification).
• ACNP-Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification within 1 year of hire.
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of five (5) years of RN experience in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing.
• Critical Care experience.
