Responsibilities
- The nurse practitioner, hospitalist provides medical services related to diagnosis, treatment and education to patients and families in collaboration with physicians and other members of the health care team
- Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and laboratory studies; interpreting test results
