Nurse Practitioner, Hematology/Oncology
About The Position
Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Hematology/Oncology team in San Francisco, California . This is an outstanding opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oncology care and an interest in supporting patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Full-time, outpatient-based position Partner closely with physicians in delivering high-quality, coordinated care Perform patient assessments, develop and manage treatment plans, and monitor therapy response Provide patient and family education and emotional support throughout the continuum of care Collaborate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
Requirements
- Current California Nurse Practitioner license and furnishing number (or eligibility)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to team-based care
Nice To Haves
- Prior oncology or hematology experience preferred; new graduates with strong oncology training and interest are encouraged to apply
