About the position
Could you be our next Nurse Practitioner within the Lankenau Heart Group at the Broomall, PA practice? As a Nurse Practitioner, you will perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents. You will make an impact in leading quality and evidence-based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patient outcomes. This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year in Tuition Reimbursement based on your Full or Part Time status. You are eligible for up to 240 hours of paid time off per year, and we also offer a number of employee discounts to various activities, services, and vendors. Employee parking is always free.
Responsibilities
- Enhance quality patient care through advanced nursing practices.
- Amplify communication between the physician, family members, and the health care team.
- Perform medical diagnosis and prescribe therapeutic or corrective measures.
- Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives.
Requirements
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
- MSN Required.
- Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
- Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
- Require ACLS certification.
- May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
- Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process.
Nice-to-haves
- 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience preferred in cardiology.
- Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in cardiology preferred.
