As a member of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, the primary purpose of this position is to help manage the care of obstetrical patients in the outpatient setting while projecting a positive image of UPHS through excellent communication and customer service skills. The CRNP in the specialty practice of Maternal Fetal Medicine will work collaboratively with physicians, fellows, APPs, nurses, and staff in a team approach to enhance patient care that enables the practice to streamline patient visits, improve patient access, and provide a high level of coordinated, efficient, and quality care to our high-risk obstetrical patients. This position will include provision of direct patient care in various settings, including the Antenatal Testing Unit (ATU), where responsibilities include interpretation, documentation, and billing of antenatal testing procedures, assessment and management of abnormal antenatal testing findings, performance of AFIs and BPPs as needed, and preliminary review of ultrasounds. The CRNP will also collaborate with physicians on management plans, communicate ultrasound findings to patients, coordinate care with prenatal providers, and track high-risk patients. In the MFM practice office, the CRNP will perform preconception and perinatal consultations, see patients for return OB visits, and participate in weekly division meetings. This position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, with a combination of on-site and remote shifts.
