About The Position

Legacy is recruiting a nurse practitioner for our Good Samaritan clinic. Our clinics support the local communities by providing services to a variety of patient populations. With more than 25 clinics serving Portland, the surrounding communities and rural locations such as Silverton, Keizer, Sandy and St. Helens, Legacy is helping keep the Pacific Northwest healthy.

Requirements

• Current applicable state RN license required.
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) required.
• Current applicable state license as a Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required.
• Current certification dependent upon the specific position to include Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Experience in direct patient management in the surgical subspecialty of vascular, neurosurgery or orthopedic surgery.
• Surgical assisting experience required.
• Knowledge of acute and chronic disease states.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient management in the surgical subspecialty of vascular, neurosurgery or orthopedic surgery.
• Assist in surgical procedures as required.
• Administer and prescribe medications as per treatment plans.
• Deliver physical care following treatment plans.
