Nurse Practitioner - Family Medicine - Howard Beach
About The Position
Family Medicine – Howard Beach is seeking an experienced PA or NP to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a busy outpatient practice. You’ll work closely with Dr. Maria N. Musso, D.O., a board-certified Family Physician with 29+ years of experience serving the Queens community. Moderate to high autonomy managing a portion of your patient panel (ages 16+) Work collaboratively with a highly respected physician and multidisciplinary team Structured 1-month onboarding program including Epic/system training Opportunity to deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, and same-day sick visits Exposure to diverse patient population in a vibrant community
Requirements
- NP/PA with 2+ years of experience (new graduates considered)
- BLS & ACLS required ( from AHA only)
- DEA certification required
- Epic experience preferred
- PALS preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
- Manage prescription refills and preventive care
- Perform minor procedures (suture/staple removal, I&D)
- Respond to patient messages in a timely manner
- Collaborate with Dr. Musso on complex/high-risk cases
