About The Position

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join their rural healthcare practices in Rensselaer, Indiana. This provider would join a growing, thriving practice that provides a collegial environment and strong mentorship opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction, display exceptional interpersonal skills, and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients. The physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Practice hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with a flexible full-time schedule and no weekends or holidays. The average outpatient volume is 18 - 20 patients per day, treating patients of all ages. Telehealth is offered. Common diagnoses include child and adult wellness visits, back pain, endocrinology issues, hypertension, and heart failure. Requirements

  • Strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients
  • Master's Degree
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care
  • Treat patients of all ages
  • Manage common diagnoses including Child and adult wellness visits, Back pain, Endocrinology issues, Hypertension, Heart failure
