About The Position
Regular part time Nurse Practitioner opportunity with Carilion Family Medicine -PCA Electric Road. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8-5 with occasional flex time on Monday and Friday. As such, PAs and NPs who have worked within Family and Community Medicine, for at least 1 year, will be scheduled to precept PA and NP students from our partnering programs. This role includes responsibility for identifying the patient's health status through taking of health histories; performing physical examinations; initiating screening and diagnostic procedures; management of minor trauma and acute health problems; health maintenance and clinical management of stable or chronically ill patients.
