About The Position

The Nurse Practitioner in Employee Health at Sutter Health is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, and implementing medical care for patients in collaboration with physicians. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner and certification in the state where care is delivered.
  • California Registered Nurse license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 5 years of recent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of advanced nursing theories, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare industry policies and regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Electronic Health Records.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate assignments effectively.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in ambulatory care settings.
  • Familiarity with California Nurse Practice Act regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, and implement medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician.
