Nurse Practitioner - Electrophysiology Arrhythmia Center - Queens Medical Group. Join the growing Arrhythmia Center at Queens Medical Group as a Nurse Practitioner and play a vital role in delivering advanced cardiac care. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Medical Director and a multidisciplinary electrophysiology team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients with complex arrhythmias.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Current New York State NP and RN licenses
  • NP Board Certification through ANCC or AANP
  • BLS Certification with American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and electrophysiology
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrophysiology NP experience
  • ACLS Certification with American Heart Association

Responsibilities

  • Manage and treat existing patients within the practice
  • Conduct comprehensive arrhythmia assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
  • Prescribe and perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
  • Participate in and supervise diagnostic procedures and clinical protocols
  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of cardiac electrophysiology, including implantable electronic devices
  • Interpret intracardiac electrograms and pacemaker/defibrillator data
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with implanted cardiac devices
  • Perform routine device testing and reprogramming independently or with minimal supervision
  • Review and interpret data from remotely monitored devices
  • Manage and respond to clinical findings from remote transmissions; assist in troubleshooting remote monitors
