About The Position

Temple University Health’s Radiology department is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Coordinator to join the team! Job Summary As an advanced practice provider, this individual will work with the Radiologists to ensure that the patients get the appropriate follow-up studies that are needed to manage their health. This individual will review Radiology reports, talk with the patients, order additional studies, and communicate the results of those studies to the appropriate providers to provide additional care. They will be viewed as partners with the primary care physicians and the population health team, identifying ways to ensure that our patients receive the appropriate follow-up care for their health. Contributes to a safe and therapeutic environment that is centered on the needs of the patients, caregivers and others, demonstrating concern for the patient's privacy, comfort, and emotional state. Treats patient with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture in a caring, ethical, and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree of Science Degree in Nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science Degree in Nursing Required
  • PA Cert Reg Nurse Practitioner Required
  • PA Registered Nurse License Required
  • Prescriptive Authority Required
  • Basic Life Support Required

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year experience in a clinical specialty practice Preferred
  • 2 years experience as a nurse practitioner Preferred
  • General Experience in Radiology Preferred
  • General Experience in an outpatient / ambulatory setting Preferred
  • General Experience with EPIC EMR Preferred

Responsibilities
