Cardiology Nurse Practitioner | Full-Time Location: Renton, Washington A well-established, not-for-profit healthcare system in the Renton, Washington area is actively seeking a full-time Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join its collaborative cardiovascular team. This is a team-based, patient-centered environment serving a diverse patient population, with strong system-wide clinical support and resources. Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in Washington State or eligible for licensure
  • Board Certified (FNP, AGNP, or ACNP)
  • Active/Eligible DEA registration
  • Cardiology experience preferred; strong new graduates with relevant RN background may be considered
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cardiology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
  • Conduct hospital rounding, consultations, and follow-up visits
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Assist with pre- and post-procedure management for cardiac catheterization and other cardiac procedures
  • Provide patient education focused on prevention, lifestyle modification, and medication management
  • Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based cardiovascular initiatives
