About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiology to join an established multispecialty practice in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients in a supportive outpatient setting.

Requirements

Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
Must be Board Certified.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in cardiology as a Nurse Practitioner.
Proficient in cardiovascular assessment, diagnostic testing interpretation (EKG, echocardiograms, stress tests), medication management, and electronic health records.
Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and cardiac evaluations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiology conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, and arrhythmias.
Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, including EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors, and echocardiograms.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, disease prevention, medication adherence, and treatment options.
Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with practice standards.
