About The Position

The organization is seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join its established cardiology practice in Renton. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a respected regional healthcare system. This role focuses on outpatient cardiovascular care, supporting physicians in the evaluation and management of adult patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions. Requirements

• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Licensure: Active Washington State APRN license (or eligibility)
• Certification: Board Certified as FNP or Adult/Gerontology NP
• Experience: Prior cardiology experience preferred; strong clinical background required
• Skills: Ability to work independently in an outpatient cardiology setting

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care, including management of hypertension, heart failure, CAD, arrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions
• Conduct patient assessments, follow-up visits, and cardiac risk evaluations
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing (EKGs, stress tests, labs, imaging, etc.)
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and treatment plans
• Manage medication regimens and adjust therapies as clinically appropriate
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based cardiac care initiatives
