Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
• CPR Certified.
• Practice specific experience preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated competency in Clinical assessment.
• Maintains National Certification with 100 hours of CME credits every two years.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the overall coordination and delivery of care to patients in the practice.
• Performs history, examines, diagnoses and treats patients.
• Assists in procedures in the office setting.
• Conducts testing and prescribes medications in accordance with the Pennsylvania CRNP license scope.
• Communicates with patients, physicians, and other members of the health care team about changes in a patient's clinical condition and testing results.
• Serves as a liaison, educator, and patient advocate.
