About The Position

This position is part of a respected, community-based healthcare system serving the Greater New Haven area. The cardiac electrophysiology (EP) program offers advanced arrhythmia management, device implantation follow-up, EP studies, ablation support, and coordinated care with general cardiology and cardiac imaging teams. The organization is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner) specializing in Cardiac Electrophysiology to join its growing cardiovascular team in the New Haven area. This full-time, permanent role involves providing comprehensive EP care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The APP will support electrophysiologists in patient evaluation, procedure preparation, device management, and ongoing care coordination. You will work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and EP lab teams in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. Requirements

  • Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited institution
  • Active APRN license; eligible for Connecticut licensure
  • National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner

Nice To Haves

  • Prior cardiology or electrophysiology experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct EP-focused patient assessments, follow-ups, and patient education
  • Manage care for patients with arrhythmias, implanted cardiac devices, and post-procedure needs
  • Assist with pre- and post-operative EP procedures, including ablations and device placements
  • Perform device interrogations, remote monitoring review, and documentation
  • Collaborate with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, nurses, and EP lab staff
  • Maintain accurate, thorough EMR documentation and ensure continuity of care
  • Participate in quality initiatives, case reviews, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Provide evidence-based care while supporting high clinical standards
