About The Position

The licensed, credentialed, and Privileged Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved. As an independent practitioner in the health center, the APRN renders diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner course or the equivalent
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Possession of an APRN license in the State of Hawaii
• Have Prescriptive Authority

• Provide age and specialty appropriate medical care
• Render diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow-up as an independent practitioner
