Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to join the outpatient Obstetrics & Gynecology team at Women’s Ambulatory Health Services (WAHS) at Hartford Hospital. Our providers include a diverse team of physicians, nurse practitioners, certified nurse midwives, physician assistants and ob/gyn residents. Education and care for our community's underserved population are central to the mission of the clinic. We are a teaching site for advanced practitioners, medical students and our nationally recognized Ob/Gyn residency program. Beyond providing full scope Obstetrics and Gynecology, we also offer several specialty clinics including dysplasia, headache and menopause, obstetrical diabetes care, office hysteroscopy and family planning. Our patients also benefit from numerous ancillary services on site including ultrasound imaging, laboratory services, social work, health psychologist, nutrition and lactation peer counselors. Advanced practitioners are fully supported by on-site physicians, nurses, sonographers and a robust administrative team. Strong clinical reasoning and excellent communication skills are required. This role functions both independently and in collaboration with nurses, residents, and attending physicians. This position will report to the Medical Director at Women’s Ambulatory Health, Practice Manager and the Advanced Practitioner Lead.
