About The Position

This Critical Care Advanced Practice Provider Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) is eligible for a $15,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation reimbursement, which will be discussed with interviewed candidates. In addition, hires are eligible for additional compensation bonuses tied to productivity and retention. These positions offer billable hours, shift and holiday differential, and monthly bonuses. The advanced practice provider (ACNP) will be employed by the Department of Anesthesiology within Barnes-Jewish Hospital ICUs. Opportunities include cardiothoracic ICU, surgical/burn/trauma ICU, combined medical/surgical ICUs, and telemedicine. ICU work locations will be determined based on the applicant's experience and professional interests. Will practice as an independent provider in collaboration with a fellowship trained intensivist within diverse, skilled, inter-professional critical care teams. The environment is challenging and rewarding and allows the ACNP the opportunity to practice to the fullest extent of their scope of practice.

Requirements

  • M.S.N. - Master Of Science In Nursing - Nurse Practitioner
  • Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days
  • Active MO license and in good standing, or ability to obtain
  • APRN licensure or ability to successfully obtain licensure within three months of date of hire
