Work schedule and shifts: Employee will be working 10 hour days, 6am-4pm, with weekend and holiday rotations in hospital based setting. Bonus and incentive programs: Additional bonus paid for working weekends, holidays, and additional shifts outside of regularly scheduled 4, 10 hour weekly schedule. Clinic overview: Clinic commitment is minimal requirement of team members supporting post hospital discharge care. Team structure and interactions: Advanced practice practitioners (APPs) in acute critical care settings will work as part of a team with doctors, nurses, and other specialists, and their responsibilities. Day-in-the-life snapshot: Will be managing patient care, taking patient histories, performing physical exams, ordering lab tests, diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing medications, and stabilizing patients through medical decision making. This includes managing patients care, taking patient histories, performing physical exams, ordering lab tests, diagnosing and treating patients, prescribing medications, and stabilizing patients, collaborating with other ancillary team members through communication with doctors and other nurses, collaborating with colleagues on diagnoses, and coordinating specialist and multi-specialty care. Will be responsible for supporting families through patient’s current medical circumstance by providing education.
