About The Position

The Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) provides services designed to evaluate, promote and support the health and safety of Concord Hospital staff (employees, volunteers, medical staff, students, contractors, and other populations). The Employee Health Medical Director provides guidance and authorizes medical orders and protocols for the Employee Health Program. The RN collaborates with Human Resources’ personnel, Infection Prevention and Control staff, Safety personnel, supervisory staff, employees, and external providers. The RN assists with the case management of Occupational Health, ADA accommodations, Drug screening resulting and Worker's Compensation.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree (A. D.) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Three or more years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team setting and establish positive cross-functional relationships.
  • Proficient typing and data-entry skills.
  • Certification, Registration & Licensure (implied).

Responsibilities

  • Provide services designed to evaluate, promote and support the health and safety of Concord Hospital staff (employees, volunteers, medical staff, students, contractors, and other populations).
  • Perform Post-offer health screens.
  • Conduct immunity screening and vaccination.
  • Perform infectious disease screening, detection and prevention.
  • Provide employee illness and injury services.
  • Conduct medical surveillance.
  • Provide health and wellness services and promotion of a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources’ personnel, Infection Prevention and Control staff, Safety personnel, supervisory staff, employees, and external providers.
  • Assist with the case management of Occupational Health, ADA accommodations, Drug screening resulting and Worker's Compensation.
