About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate or higher level degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted nursing license.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.
• Experience in midwifery and advanced nursing practices.

Nice To Haves

• PhD or equivalent doctoral degree in nursing or related field.
• Experience in managing high-risk pregnant patients.
• Experience in providing a full range of emergency services.

Responsibilities

• Provide midwifery services under supervision.
• Manage care of women during prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
• Perform well women exams and assess patients and deliveries of newborns.
• Provide primary health care with emphasis on reproductive health.
• Recognize and respond to obstetric complications and emergencies.
• Triage patients and provide treatment plans.
• Collaborate with community programs to improve patient care coordination.
