The Women’s Health Nurse Navigator serves as a specialized clinical guide for individuals undergoing breast or lung cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship care. This role provides personalized support by promoting timely access to care, assisting patients in understanding breast or lung health findings, and coordinating multidisciplinary services across the continuum. The navigator works closely with radiology, general surgery, oncology, primary care, and supportive services to ensure patients receive evidence‑based, compassionate, and coordinated breast health care. Additional responsibilities include supporting breast program development, quality improvement, community outreach, patient education, and collaboration with the SPH marketing team to promote breast and lung health awareness.
