Coordinates and provides care utilizing the critical thinking frame work of the nursing process with using decision making skills to support the surgical patient/ family in the peri-operative setting. Fostering the quality goal to blend caring, knowledge, integrity and education support for a positive postoperative outcome. Will Assist and support Medical Director and Operations Director by providing clinical leadership for office staff and to ensure quality goal attainment to support the Hospital goals and initiative. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Assist with coordination of referrals from physicians.
  • Coordinate access to services and education for the peri op patient.
  • Participate in activities to improve health care delivery and post op outcomes
  • Provides patient, family, and/or staff teaching/education.
  • Assist with marketing and promoting of services.
  • Provides leadership.
  • Participates in ongoing educational activities.
  • Ensures OSHA Guidelines are followed as Safety Officer
  • Coordinate with Hospital RN Surgical Navigator
  • Completes assigned goals.
  • Minimum: 3 years of nursing experience.
  • Minimum: graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Specialty certification required
  • RN
  • Broad knowledge of community services, health concepts and adult education.
  • 3 years of previous nursing experience in Surgical setting
  • bachelor’s degree in nursing
