About The Position

Tower Health Medical Group, OB/GYN of Exeter is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to play a vital role in the provision and coordination of prenatal and gynecological care. As a team member, you will provide a full scope midwifery, prenatal and gynecological care, well woman services and attend births in a hospital setting. Varying daytime office hours in addition to rotating night, weekend and holiday call coverage. Requirements

  • Master's Degree
  • Relevant Experience
  • PA Nurse Midwife License
  • NPR Certification required for those who provide CNM services within the acute care hospital
  • Nurse Midwifery, Women's Health Care or Perinatal Nurse Practitioner Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • Excellent Communications Skills

Responsibilities

  • Obtain a complete history through interviewing and conducting a physical exam
  • Provide Antepartum, Intrapartum and Postpartum care.
  • Perform an obstetrical ultrasound
  • Diagnoses, formulate, and coordinate a therapeutic prenatal and intrapartum care plan
  • Interpret clinical, diagnostic, and lab results and review findings with other providers as appropriate
  • Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals
  • Refer patient and/or family to appropriate community and medical resources
  • Communicate a plan and follow-up care to patients, staff, and other providers
  • Demonstrate effective conflict management skills
