About The Position

The Nurse Manager of Interventional Radiology at Miami Valley Hospital is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for the Interventional Radiology section within the Imaging Services Department. This role involves overseeing staffing, performance improvement, and educational activities to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction. The Nurse Manager collaborates with various stakeholders, formulates policies, and monitors the effectiveness of the department's operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in nursing or a health-related program.
• Valid Ohio state licensure in Nursing.
• CPR Certification.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience in surgical and/or procedural operations preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years progressive leadership experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills across disciplines.
• Expertise in change management and managing group dynamics.

• Experience in inventory management and performance improvement processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Interventional Radiology section.
• Coordinate staffing and strategic planning for clinical areas within Imaging Services.
• Oversee performance improvement and educational activities in the department.
• Collaborate with medical imaging management, nursing administration, and other healthcare providers.
• Formulate and administer policies, plans, budgets, and programs for the department.
• Monitor the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the Interventional Radiology section.
