Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • One (1) year experience as an RN in an acute care setting or successful completion of applicable clinical and didactic SRDH specialty training course(s)or program, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: NV, upon hire
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Two (2) years experience as an RN in an acute care setting, upon hire

  • Demonstrating critical thinking by implementing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation) and using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, and assuring practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards
  • Managing medication administration and intravenous (IV) access according to physician's orders and assuring practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards
  • Documenting nursing care and patient status in accordance with the nursing process and assuring practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards
  • Promoting patient and family centered care by interacting with patients, families, and care-delivery team in verbal and written form and assuring practices comply with human resources, policies/procedures, and professional standards
