About The Position
The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing nursing operations within an assigned unit, including supervision of nursing staff, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards, and collaborating with leadership to optimize patient care delivery. Demonstrates strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage staff performance, resolve issues, and foster team development. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- BCLS required
- Minimum two years of rehab nursing or acute care experience and two years of supervisory experience preferred
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred
- ACLS preferred
- CRRN preferred
