The Psychiatric Institute of Washington provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults suffering from mental health and addictive illnesses. PIW is a 130 bed, short-term, acute care hospital offering inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient hospitalization, as well as specialized treatment programs for chemical dependency. Situated in the safe, historical Tenleytown neighborhood, PIW is one mile from the Tenleytown Metro stop and within walking distance to local cafes and restaurants. www.psychinstitute.com The Nurse Manager (Registered Nurse RN) directs the activities of the nursing staff members, including scheduling the daily nursing tasks for the department and providing guidance on operational procedures and patient care for Nursing staff at Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center. The Supervisor Registered Nurse will also provide direct patient care, following the nursing process and holistic conceptual framework in the development of nursing care plans. Requirements

  • Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of employment.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursingpreferred or Associates Degree of Nursing enrolled in Bachelor Program
  • 4 years of Psych RN experience preferred. 1 year of Leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective management and supervisory practices.
  • Ability to plan, direct, and monitor others’ activities with demonstrated leadership abilities that contribute to a positive work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 years of Psych RN experience preferred
  • 1 year of Leadership experience preferred
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursingpreferred
