Manager Nursing - Progress Care at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Full-Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts. The Nurse Manager of a patient care unit or service maintains 24-hour accountability for the clinical leadership of staff. Responsible for overall personnel and fiscal management, clinical standards development, staff development, and the continuous improvement of activities within assigned areas. Through collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers and others, reviews, analyzes and recommends changes in practice to work toward achieving Queen of the Valley Medical Center's goal to become a Center of Excellence. Practice is in accordance with Joint Commission standards, State and Federal regulatory criteria, and professional practice standards. Proficiency is demonstrated in the required competencies.
