Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current RN State Licensure and CPR certification
  • Patience, tact, sense of humor, enthusiasm, and a willingness to handle difficult situations
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to foster team engagement and support staff well-being
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Foster Community – Support engagement surveys, recognition programs, and action plans that strengthen connection across the organization.
  • Bring Culture to Life – Embed Cedar Community values into everyday interactions, leadership behaviors, and team member experiences.
  • Create Moments That Matter – Thoughtfully plan and deliver signature experiences, such as milestone celebrations, that reinforce accountability, appreciation, and shared success.
  • Support the Team – Serve as a confidential resource for team members experiencing stress, burnout, or personal challenges through one-on-one sessions.
  • Steward Team Development – Shape key touchpoints in the team member journey, including check-ins, wellness initiatives, and staff debriefing after trauma or death.
  • Integrate Wellness Programs – Collaborate with the Spiritual Care Team and refer team members to resources when specialized support is required.
  • Drive Engagement – Implement Activated Insights programs to enhance staff connection and satisfaction.
  • Maintain Quality – Track wellness initiatives, provide feedback on emerging trends, and ensure programs and engagement efforts are high-quality, meaningful, and aligned with organizational standards.
  • Take Responsibility – Lead and account for wellness programs, engagement initiatives, and cultural practices across the organization.
  • Other Duties as Assigned – Participate actively in leadership and operational initiatives as needed.
