Work collaboratively with providers and support staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Direct, organize, and supervise the work of nursing staff, which includes registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and medical assistants (MAs). Coordinate nursing efforts to ensure effective patient care and compliance with quality standards. Provide primary clinical operation oversight including scheduling, billing functions, and patient care. Develop and monitor employee performance plans; evaluate nursing and support staff activity and take corrective action as needed. Assist in the recruitment, development, orientation, and training of nursing and clinical staff. Serve as a clinical leader in various projects and forums. Ensure integration of nursing services with other patient care services. Oversee efficient processing of patients; ensure compliance with quality assurance, Joint Commission, UDS standards, and infection control activities. Manage data collection systems for grants and report statistical data as necessary. Attend mandatory supervisory nursing meetings and occasional weekend trainings. Perform ongoing assessments and data collection focused on quality metrics. Engage in performance improvement activities to enhance processes and advance clinical excellence. Provide direct nursing care services, including administering medications, assessment, planning, treatment, and evaluation of patient care. Document patient responses to treatment and care provided as per guidelines.
